Duncan MacLeod
This is one of my very best friends, Duncan MacLeod.

(right) MacLeod shows how insufferable he can be.
In the past, he has...
- knocked me on my bum (Chivalry)
- painted my nose (Chivalry)
- held a sword to my throat (Methos, Chivalry, Deliverance)
- tried to run me over with a car (Deliverance)
- thrown me over a wall (Deliverance)
- punched me in the face (Deliverance)
- used me to get classified Watcher information (Through a Glass Darkly)
- laid a guilt trip on me till I did what he wanted (Judgment Day)
- forced me to choose between my identity as an Immortal and my vocation
as a Watcher (One Minute to Midnight)
- dumped me when I needed him most (Comes a Horseman)
- killed an old friend of mine (Modern Prometheus)
- made me wear ill-fitting and unfashionable clothes (Not to Be)
- almost got me killed when I tried to do him a favor (Till Death)
- and threatened to take my head when I was trying to do him another
favor (Forgive Us Our Trespasses)
And he has this to say about me:
Duncan: You know, there are times I really don't like you. (Valkyrie)
However, after four years, Duncan finally managed to squeak out some
thanks... after a fashion:
Duncan: You know, I don't know who or what you are, Methos...
What do you mean, you don't know WHAT I am???
Duncan: ... and I know you don't want to hear this...
Of course, I want to hear it!
Duncan: ... but you did teach me something. You taught me that life
is about change, about learning to accept who you are — good or bad —
and I thank you for that. (Not to Be)
You're welcome, Mac.
